Hybrid Cars: What’s All The Fuss About?

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Is a fact that people simply loves hybrid cars. They love hybrid cars because of the benefits to them to other people and the environment. So, what is hybrid cars, which now attracts more people to one of their own to get?

Especially if you have a hybrid car example Hyundai’ Hybrid Blue Drive, you can reduce fuel consumption by half. When was the last car passed through the station? If you recently discover that the price of gasoline a steady increase. Compared to conventional vehicles to hybrid cars, you reduce fuel consumption by half. This means that fewer trips to the pump station. Imagine driving a car that more than 60 miles per gallon can go. This may seem good enough to get a hybrid car, but there are many other benefits that you receive from hybrid cars.

Already in 2005, President George Bush signed an agreement that buyers and users of hybrid cars can enjoy huge tax breaks. For this reason, you can save yourself money through taxes. Another big advantage is that you get when you have a hybrid cars are free parking, and some states a law that hybrid cars should be toll booths to collect a discount.

Hybrid cars are also known to give much lower levels of pollutants into the air. This means less air pollution. This also means that they can reduce the effects of global warming, and allow you and other people to breathe clean air.

These are just some of the things that hybrid cars can give. You ask, what technology in hybrid cars are so fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

Hybrid cars are integrated with the hybrid technology currently exists today. In fact, hybrid technology for a long time there. It is used on locomotives that are used on submarines and is used in some buses in some states and countries.

Hybrid technology is a combination of electricity and the standard engine. For example, in locomotives, combining diesel engine and electric motor, and submarines, combines nuclear engine and electric motor. This is much more efficient than a conventional engine run on its own.

In hybrid cars, it combines the power gasoline engine and electric motor to drive cars. This means that with both engines running, reducing the internal combustion engine depending on load. The electric motor is the share of work. This technology provides a valuable fuel and emit much less let the toxic fumes in the air rescue.

For example, if your hybrid car is running idle, the gasoline engine automatically and let the car run on pure electricity. To save a lot of fuel, especially if you are in traffic jams.

Today, there are hybrid cars to be made, if the gasoline engine is turned off. This type of hybrid car will eventually get rid of respiratory pumping station. And it is possible to travel without emitting toxic fumes. Gasoline engine will only work as a backup engine when the battery is running low in power. Brakes and the engine will automatically recharge the battery is gearing up for another purely electric run. This means that you are actually in your hybrid car plug into a wall outlet for charging.

The Hyundai Nuvis Concept is the eleventh signature concept car designed for the company in California Design Center in Irvine, Calif. In addition to show the mark-edge capabilities, Hyundai Concept NuVision also hint at a possible design direction of a future generation crossover, combining the attributes of a great city car and a premium vehicle.

Pursuant to the commitment of Hyundai leads all trademarks of the United States in fuel economy by 2015, NuVision is powered by Hyundai Blue Hybrid Drive architecture, which uses the revolutionary technology of lithium-polymer batteries .

EVOLUTION OF THE DESIGN

In developing the initial sketches, Hyundai has considered the interaction between the designers of natural, more fluid with the rigid surfaces and structures to create the illusion of constant movement. In particular, the designers studied how water separates and through the flow around the hull and sides of a boat, the creation of a suite, or how the wind shapes a snowdrift or flurries to through the trees. The power of life of these elements is reflected in the NuVision Design.

“Our goal was to create a living machine, constantly in motion, the driver and passengers could be part of,” said John KRSTESKA Hyundai Design manager. “There are no lines on this car or are still standing. ”

In addition to invoking the irrepressible sense of movement, the Hyundai design team has taken more than practical issues into account. NuVision Hyundai Concept is designed to reflect the diverse interests of a modern, active couple. The NuVision is supposed to be at ease from his day to a desert retreat, to reach the ski slopes in the afternoon and then cruise to a formal dinner that evening.

The design team sought to create a vehicle that would complement its environment, without having a negative impact. The versatility of the design of the vehicle, combined with Hyundai technology Hybrid Blue Drive, performs exactly that.

The nine major components of Hyundai’s Hybrid Blue Drive include:

  • An efficient 30kW electric motor, delivering 205 N-m of torque
  • A regenerative braking system
  • An integrated starter generator that enables the engine to turn off at stops and restart automatically under acceleration
  • A breakthrough lithium polymer battery package, with 5.3 Ah of capacity at 270 volts
  • Optimized Theta II 2.4-liter engine
  • 6-speed automatic transmission with an improved-efficiency electric oil pump
  • Weight-efficient architecture coupled with a low drag coefficient
  • Electric air conditioning compressor
  • Hybrid power control unit
